I just loved Don LaFontaine’s voice… Every time i listened to his voice in movie trailers… he brought life and made the movie enticing… I read his biography and I am impressed by his accomplishments as a voiceover artist… “5,000 film trailers and hundreds of thousands of television advertisement, network promotions and video game trailers”… This guy made lots of money out of his voice whom he thought was really a bad news when it cracked at the age of 13 which gave him the base tone.
Despite his awesome talent and successes as the most sought-after voiceover artist… he remained grounded and humble… He passed away last year, September 1, 2008 due to complications from pneumothorax.
